The Workshop

The goal of our workshop at SxSW was to both educate and collaborate around the topic of geofencing through the use of interactive technology, focusing on the modern use of the technology, marketing opportunities, and the ethics surrounding these activities.  Like many areas of interest in marketing technologies, there are often undefined ethical boundaries that both consumers and marketers face at the outset of innovation, so our session’s goal was to explore these interactively with out audience and produce an actionable leave-behind – the manifesto document.
